How to trim your monthly phone, energy and internet bills without the stress

The average wireless bill is $73 a month — multiply that by your family members, and it’s a big number. But don’t crack down on the kids — crack down on data itself. I talked with Matt Lauer on TODAY this morning about how some plans allow you to allocate your data pool differently among family members, and I use this with my kids (for example, each gets 6 gigabytes and when it’s gone, it’s gone).
