Frugal Friday: Holiday Sales

This weekend offers double holidays: Valentine’s Day today (if you didn’t know that, you’re likely already in trouble) and President’s Day on Monday. Both offer an opportunity for retailer promotions, and when we went digging to see what would be available, we weren’t disappointed. Here’s where you’ll find the discounts:

West Elm. A couple sales are going on at this retailer: an extra 15% off markdowns with code PREZ15 and15% off sofas and sectionals. Both are in effect until Monday, February 17.

Threads for Thought. The sustainable apparel manufacturer and retailer is offering 25% off through Monday with promotion code FREEDOM. The sale excludes styles in the Essentials category.

Jamba Juice. Buy yourself a smoothie or juice and get one for your date for free: the BOGO offer is valid through Monday and you can print a coupon here.

Starbucks: Same sort of deal, albeit for a very limited time: Buy one latte, get one free — today only, from 2 to 5pm.

Bonefish Grill. Their Valentine’s Day special offers dinner for two for $29.90 each. You’ll get two salads, two six-ounce filets, two steamed lobster tails, two sides, a seasonal vegetable and a macadamia nut brownie to share. The deal is good through Monday, February 17.

Best Buy. The store’s President’s Day sale has select HDTVs, laptops, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and even the iPad Mini discounted.

Macy’s. An extra 20%, 15% or 10% off, plus free shipping with $99 purchase. Use the promo code PRES. Online only, get an extra 25% off clearance as well.

Overstock.com. The online retailer is advertising a litany of deals: an extra 10% off select mattresses, bedding, kitchen and dining, furniture, jewelry and watches. Plus 15% off select area rugs.

Belk. Through today, get $10 off a $50 purchase, $20 off a $100 purchase, and $30 off a $150 purchase. Visit the store’s website for other offers and promo codes.

Carter’s. 50% off everything — in stores and online — through Monday, February 17. Plus, an extra 25% off your $50 purchase. Use the code PRESDAY online or print this coupon in stores.
