Frugal Friday: Apparel, Fitness Equipment and Pears

We’re back with our regular round-up of deals for the weekend, and we’re noticing a trend: this month is all about getting healthy, and retailers are responding with lower prices to help you out. We’re also seeing sales on apparel, as predicted — handy if your New Year’s resolutions trigger some weight loss. Here, the sales we dug up this week:

Gaiam. In line with our January deals predictions, the yoga brand is offering 33% off select items. Included in the sale are yoga straps, blocks and towels, plus DVDs, water bottles and other accessories. Plus if you sign up for their email offers (send ’em to a spam address) you’ll get 10% off and free shipping on a purchase of $50 or more.

Harry and David. Did you miss out on their famous pairs this holiday season? There’s no reason you can’t send yourself a gift basket. They’re now on sale for up to 50% as part of the company’s Perfect Pear Event.

Red Lobster. The restaurant is running a “Table for Two” menu special, with two salads, two entrees, an appetizer or a dessert to share for $29.99. Menu options vary by location (you can do a search here) but we assume those addicting biscuits are also included.

Dick’s Sporting Goods. Save up to 60% on select clearance apparel, shoes and outerwear that is already marked 25% off. Plus, free shipping on all cardio equipment — a good deal if you’re looking to put a treadmill in your home.

Lord and Taylor. Take 20% off sale and clearance with the promo code JAN. The deal is good through January 15, but there’s a long list of excluded brands, so take a look.
